TRAINING UPDATE   We held training sessions for both the Agency and Partners to help them gain new knowledge and skills. We also conducted an ARMS Induction for the new members of the Engineering team!

HELPING HANDS 2024 On the 20th of December, we welcomed the final group of Helping Hands to Magna. After seven weeks of helping out at our site, we want to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported Magna Park. We are thankful for all the assistance and input that has been provided. Thank you!

HELPING HANDS IN MAGNA PARK!  Kindly greet our team  of Helping Hands who are here every day to support our site in reaching success this year! They assist the Replenishment department by picking items in the B2B area, Flow racks, and DOSR. Their contribution  as top pickers each day is invaluable to the business. Let's work together to create a positive atmosphere and deliver the best possible experience in this role in Magna Park!

WORKDAY GOALS - TIME TO REVIEW   The End of the Year Conversation is approaching! Reflect on your goals to see if there is anything else you must do to accomplish them or gather evidence. Have you already achieved them? Make sure to update your goals on Workday and get ready for the End of Year Conversation. Feel free to reach out to us if you need any support!   

WORKSHOPS UPDATE  357 attending Partners! We appreciate your participation in our workshop this year! Thank you for sharing your feedback and positive vibes during the sessions. We will be launching new workshops in February 2025 - stay tuned for updates!

HELPING HANDS IN MAGNA PARK! Helping Hands is a vital tool to help our operation when we need it most, and a golden opportunity to see first-hand what goes on within in Magna. This year Helping Hands will support Replenishment starting Nov 4th! They signed up for 296 shifts to support us in the most busiest  period of time in Magna Park! Let's work together to achieve outstanding results as a Team this year!

WORKDAY WORKSHOP Use of business goals across the Partnership makes sure that we’re all purposely contributing to our overall business results, by focusing on the right things and pulling in the same direction.  In October, we will be conducting Workday workshops for all Partners, covering topics such as goal setting, providing feedback, holding check-in meetings, and more! 

TRAINING UPDATE  228 new Agency Partners inducted in September! Welcome in Magna!  PWTs! - thank you for delivering training sessions for new Agency Partners! We couldn't achieve it without your support and engagement!

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS - ENGLISH AND MATHS  There are two options to choose from: a one-week course or a virtual 10-week course.   The courses begin in September. If you are interested in attending sessions in the spring, we can add your name to the list of interested individuals. Interested in? Contact the Training Team for more info!

TRAINING TEAM SHADOWING - WORKSHOP  Thank you for joining the workshop that focused on the responsibilities and goals of training coordinators, perfect for those interested in the TC role!

We delivered Engineering and ARMS Inductions for new members and also delivered Manual Handling and Ladder trainings for ARMS team!

TRAINING TEAM SHADOWING SESSIONS We had the pleasure of spending two days with Daniel Sowa, who showed his interest in shadowing the Development Training Team: It was a valuable opportunity for me to learn from professionals in their field and it helps me better understand your methods and learn some of your practices. 

Lina Zakaraskauite shadowed the Development Training Team one day: Session was great. I've got a lot of useful  information. The day was very productive. I will be able to share some knowledge with my colleagues. I would like to shadow one more day.

TRAINING UPDATE 

Manual Handling and Ladder Trainings delivered for ARMS team! 

Manual Handling Observations continued across all departments and shifts. 110 observations done in July!

COUNCIL ROADSHOW  In July the Training Team promoted the Helping Hands Programme at the Council Meeting Roadshow. We shared the benefits for the Magna Park and encouraged Partners to sing up and support us in the most important moments in Magna Park life!

WORKSHOPS UPDATE In June - August, we offer new workshops on subjects such as Effective Communication, Problem Solving and Quality and Reliability. In June, 49 Partners showed their interest! There are still spaces available for sessions in July and  August! We want to see you there! To sign, speak with your People Managers and save the date!

TRAINING UPDATE We delivered Inductions for Maintenance and Partners, Manual Handling and Ladder trainings for ARMS, we inducted new Agency Partners and coordinated training sessions across Campus. 

HISTORICAL CHANGE FOR THE SITE Wednesday, 12/06, saw the long-awaited end of the manifest! The last one was put into a customers order at 10am!  New processes of packing on the site! Keep yourself updated! Ask the Training Team for support if needed!

TRAINING TEAM SHADOWING SESSION We had the pleasure of spending one day with Ernesta Kairyte, who showed her interest in shadowing the Development Training Team: It was interesting to know more about the different duties of training team partners and to get more information on how I can develop myself in the future. 

Well done to Ionut Raduta! He took the mile step into his personal development! Inout supported the Training Team in delivering Induction to New Partners. Ionut, thank you for your commitment and for demonstrating fantastic Partnership knowledge. It was a valuable session for everyone!

NATIONAL LEARNING AT WORK WEEK 13th to 19th MAY 2024 In case you missed it, next week is Learning at Work Week. Each year a different theme is set for Learning at Work Week.  The 2024 theme is ‘Learning power’. It explores how lifelong and continual learning gives us power to change, grow and achieve our individual, team and organizational goals. Unlock your personal development!

WORK EXPIERINCE 8 Students from Radcliffe and Lord Grey Schools took the opportunity to spend one week at Magna learning Partnership and gaining knowledge about operational processes and Transport! 👍

MANUAL HANDLING OBSERVATION - UPDATE We continue observations of following Manual Handling Principles. In April we observed 160 Partners. In total 300 Partners observed! Well done to all Partners passing the observations! Remember, there is no superhero secret for lifting, just use four principles: INSIDE BASE BIG ENGINES TURN NOT TWIST DIP'N' DRIVE

MANUAL HANDLING OBSERVATION Manual Handling Observation initiative will commence on Week 6. Training Coordinators will be conducting regular assessments to ensure that proper techniques are being employed during manual handling activities.
